Cangzhou Hangsheng Flange&pipeline Equipment Co.,Ltd Manufacture Threaded Flanges its also called Screwed Flanges. This Flanges are similar to Slip on flanges in outline but the bore is threaded. Threaded flanges are unsuited for conditions involving temperature or bending stresses of any magnitude, particularly under cyclic conditions, where leakage through the threads may occur in relatively few cycles of heating or stress; sea welding is sometimes employed to overcome this, but cannot be considered as entirely satisfactory. Normally this type of flanges are used in low pressure piping systems. Flange may be welded around the joint after assembly, but it is not considered a satisfactory method of increasing its applications. The threads are normally NPT and BSP or as per Clients requirements.
Threaded flanges are threaded in the bore to match an external thread on the pipe. The threads are tapered to create a seal between the flange and pipe as the tapers approach the same diameter. These flanges are normally designed for low pressure, non-cyclic applications. They are also used in applications where welding is hazardous.
